Vintage set by Marta

Hello guys,
It's Marta here with my next August inspiration.

I am gonna show you today my vintage set. I created a card and a tag from beautiful Graphic 45 Paper pad 8x8 An Eerie Tale.
I added beautiful paper Prima Flowers.

"Thank you" wording is created on the computer and printed.
I also added some lace from my stash. White doily is made with new die cute from Prima.
The other doily seen is actually fussy cut from Prima Flowers packaging. Often times packaging is as beautiful as actual product in the box.

This tag also contains some packaging. You can easily see it on the top part of the tag. Those small dots are made with my favourite liquid pearls. Wording is from Kaisercraft clear stamp 'Today'.

I hope you liked my vintage creations. I also hope I encouraged you to use some packaging.
Sending you lots of creative hugs,
Marta xx

Hello my friends,

I hope you are good and in the creative mood today.
I would love to share with you my art journal page.
I love creating in my journals.
It's a nice way to experiment and discover new techniques.
I started my journals to try out new art materials and to create with no restrictions.

Todays work is no different. I just went with the flow and experiment.
Here is my page.
I have created this work using Bo Bunny Paper Pad and Kaisercraft Texture Clear Stamp.
Those stamps are perfect for journaling or cardmaking.
I also used Prima Stencil Stain. Flowers are from my stash :)
I used some sprays Lindy's Stamp Gang and pencil.
Here is few more close up photos.
As you can see the papers have some dotty design.
I decided to cut out some random shapes - strips and circles.

You can see lots pages - my journal actually is made from an old book with hard cover,
purchased in some second hand shop.

Smile Love Happy Suitcase

Hello lovelies
Happy June :)  Here is my first project for this month.  I received a beautiful kit this month and it contained suitcases!!!  I has a play with paint, ink, papers, drawing, pencils, stamping....everything I could think off.

I started my case by using a stencil and some texture paste.  I then added random torn and cut strips of paper from the paper collection Plus One from Amy Tangerine.  This paper pack has such vibrant happy colours, it is what inspired all of this project, from the words, scene, colours of paint and girl drawing.

I drew my girl out on watercolour paper and coloured her with loads of different mediums of water based products.  Her dress was create with the orange paper from the collection.  I used acyrlic paint to create my background.  There is also some random strips of washi tape added.

I sprayed the white flower trim from our kit with pink spray.  All of the prima flowers used received the paint treatment too.  All elements of this was adhered with matt gel medium.

I hope this little case gives you some inspiration.  See you in a week or two with my next project using these goodies :)

Vintage cards by Marta

Hello crafty people ;)

I hope you are having a great May weekend.
I am super happy that I can share with you my new creations from May kit.
I have decided to do two different vintage cards.
Both of the cards have the same style. I cut out some shapes from stunning Tim Holtz papers. I wanted to show how nice, vintage designs are on the pages. I inked all edges of the cut our papers.
My most recent love are the strings (in all kids).
As you can see I have wrapped the card around with some old string from my stash (I think the string comes from a parcel I have received from my parents ages ago).
I added stunning chipboard lacy bird. In the reality it is absolutely beautiful, delicate and so cute embellisment. Those few flowers are also from my stash but you could use any kind of paper flowers.
Finally my favourite stamp from Kaisercraft Texture Stamp.

Here is few more close ups pictures:

 Our May kit ;)

My second card was also created with stunning Tim Holtz Papers. The flowers were made by me - all you need is paper circle and scissors. I added some chipboard backround lattice covered with white paint. Of course some string under the flower :) My backround has some Tim Holtz stencil with dots and Tattered Angels Mist - colour coffee shop.

Few more close ups ;)

I hope You have enjoyed my vintage cards. I love vintage, dark, old and sometimes dirty look of my creations. Tim Holtz papers are divine and it was my big pleasure to use them! My next project is on it's way... In the mean time If you haven't see my April projects please feel free to take a look ;) at Seaside Layout, Picture Frame or Cards.

Have a great and creative day !
Lots hugs,
Marta x

Picture frame - perfect house decoration and gift

Hello, hello ;)

It's Marta here with my special April project.
I would love to share with you my picture frame. I wanted to create some work that could be done by everybody and not necessary with craft experience.
This project consists frame, stamped images, shells and stones. Frame can be purchased in every shop, stones are from the beach... Yes, we need those lovely 'The Sea' Graphic 45 stamps and sea shells.

The back of the picture frame was painted with acrylic white paint.
I stamped few images on back of the frame.

On the seperate white cardstock I stamped lighthouse, starfish and shell.
I cut out the images and sticked them with 3D foam squares, this gave some dimentional effect to the project.

Last part was to stick some stones and shells ;)

I hope I encoured you to try and make some picture frame.
It could make a great gift for our relatives or just for ourselves.
Handmade decorations are always precious and special.

If you wish to see 2 more of my projects from the April kit

It's the last April project from our team.
In the next month it will be also interesting - I can tell you some small senak peak - Tim Holtz and his beautiful papers ! The whole design team is very excited and cannot wait to start sharing their May projects.

Sending you lots love,
Marta x
