Small mixed media canvas

Hello Arty Souls,
This is my little extra project for June. Sometimes I create those little canvas to add to the gift instead of the card. It takes no time to make them and they are nice personal touch to the present.

I used the fabulous June kit from Cardz'n'Scrapz and following art supplies:

Acrylic paint Lagoon
paper flowers
5x5 canvas
stamps

I started by gluing random pieces of Create Paper Pad. Than I added some paint and doodles. I also use stamp to add more texture. When I use stamps, I never go for a perfect picture, I just stamp randomly using half of the stamp. When my background was finished I added paper doily and chipboard clock.

I also added some paper flowers

I hope you enjoed the project.

See you in July!!!

Love,

Sylwia

Tyrptich hanging sign

Hello lovelies

Mandy back today with my second project for June....how fast did that month go!  This is a hanging sign I created with heavy duty cardboard.  It was to add a splash of colour to the house for the summer time.

I layered paper on cut rectangles measuring 5" x 6".  To these bases I then added washi tape, some cards from the Becky Higgins Project Life collection, along with paper strips, tabs, texture paste and ink splashed in pink and black.

The dresses where created from a dress template I drew.  To give these strength I layered the paper on to some medium thickness card.  I added strips of paper, lace, trim and sewing.  These are then mounted onto the rectangles with foam tape, layered over stamped wings.  I did some random stamping in black ink and finished with small clear gems.

The 3 parts are attached with small jump rings and the hanging part was created by using 4 safety pins.

I hope this project gives you some inspiration and help bring some colour into your summer with these bright Amy Tangerine papers.  Thanks for looking.

Mixed Media wooden chest by Marta

Hello my crafty friends :)

It's Marta here with my special June project.
I wish to share with you off page creation - an altered wooden chest.
My box came to me as a part of my design team pack for this month. It was quite challenging as I usually work on flat surfaces like canvas or papers. I have to say I enjoyed this journey and I am very happy to share with you my finished box.
Here it is :)

As you can see on the top part of the box there are some Prima Trim White Petal Flower lace.
I also added lots of paper flowers from my stash.

The shiny dots are made with liquid perals (Platinum Pearl) from Ranger. It's a great addition to all projects.
I use liquid pearls for my cards, journal pages etc.

Sides of the chest are covered with some lace and stencil.
The whole box is sprayed with mists from Lindy's Stamp Gang. I used 3 colour mix - 'Golden Sleigh Bells', 'Tilt-a-Wheel Teal' and 'Merry-go-Round Green'.

I hope you have enjoyed my special project for June. If you didn't see my other June works please click here in the links to see my art journal page and classic cards.

Hugs, Marta xx

Dream BIG- altered wooden box

Hello Arty Souls!

Today I have fun project for you!- altered wooden box. I love altered objects and I have to say this one was really cool to play with! And because its wooden, it has great surface to paint on. I decided to use my favourite color scheme: turquoise, pink and yellow:)

I used the fabulous June kit from Cardz'n'Scrapz and following art supplies:

Acrylic paint Lagoon
Studio Calico Heyday Butterflies  Stickers

I painted a wooden box first, than I used stencils and stamps to add more texture. I  doodled with a Inktense Pencils and added some pieces of Create Paper Pad.

There is a window in the box and either you can make a design on a wooden piece which comes with a box or you can add the photo and the glass (also coming with a box). I decided to make a design using the same paper pieces, paints and Kaisercraft stamp.

I love adding butterfly wings to my projects:)

I also added some word stickers...

And little butterflies...

Here I wanted to show you, that you can use it also with a photo as a memory box.

I just couldn't resist to show you my beautiful peonies:) They remind me  my grandmother's garden ;)

I hope you enjoyed this summer project!

Love,

Sylwia

Clean and Simple Card Set

Good morning. It's Sandie here and today I have a couple of CAS cards to share, using products from the June kit.

Both cards are C6 and use white carstock bases. I cut 2 panels at 100mm x 143mm, one for the front panel on each card. On both I added some modelling paste through the TCW 6x6 Harlequin stencil

Whilst the paste dried I cut some strips of paper from the Basic Grey Highline 6x6 paper pad and fishtailed them to make pennants. I adhered 2 of the pennants with 3D foam tape and then adhered the 3rd penant directly onto them using wet glue.

I used the Jillibean Soup Wise Word stickers to add the sentiments, arrow and silhouette to both cards.

Products Used

Smile Love Happy Suitcase

Hello lovelies
Happy June :)  Here is my first project for this month.  I received a beautiful kit this month and it contained suitcases!!!  I has a play with paint, ink, papers, drawing, pencils, stamping....everything I could think off.

I started my case by using a stencil and some texture paste.  I then added random torn and cut strips of paper from the paper collection Plus One from Amy Tangerine.  This paper pack has such vibrant happy colours, it is what inspired all of this project, from the words, scene, colours of paint and girl drawing.

I drew my girl out on watercolour paper and coloured her with loads of different mediums of water based products.  Her dress was create with the orange paper from the collection.  I used acyrlic paint to create my background.  There is also some random strips of washi tape added.

I sprayed the white flower trim from our kit with pink spray.  All of the prima flowers used received the paint treatment too.  All elements of this was adhered with matt gel medium.

I hope this little case gives you some inspiration.  See you in a week or two with my next project using these goodies :)
