Vintage set by Marta

Hello guys,
It's Marta here with my next August inspiration.

I am gonna show you today my vintage set. I created a card and a tag from beautiful Graphic 45 Paper pad 8x8 An Eerie Tale.
I added beautiful paper Prima Flowers.

"Thank you" wording is created on the computer and printed.
I also added some lace from my stash. White doily is made with new die cute from Prima.
The other doily seen is actually fussy cut from Prima Flowers packaging. Often times packaging is as beautiful as actual product in the box.

This tag also contains some packaging. You can easily see it on the top part of the tag. Those small dots are made with my favourite liquid pearls. Wording is from Kaisercraft clear stamp 'Today'.

I hope you liked my vintage creations. I also hope I encouraged you to use some packaging.
Sending you lots of creative hugs,
Marta xx

Prima doll in a denim dress- a gift tag by Sylwia

Hello Again :) This time I was playing with wooden Prima Doll, flowers and denim:) Tags are always great as an addition to the present. Who wouldn't like personal touch to it? :)

Art Materials Used in This Project:

For the background I used vintage music sheet, vintage pattern paper, acrylic paint, stamps and gelatos.
Than I painted a girl and added denim to the skirt.

And of course some flowers. My tip is that if you add the paint to the background, add the same colour the any 3D elements in your project as It will emerge all the elements together.

Denim and flowers gave really cool 3D effect!

I hope you got inspired.

Love,

Sylwia

Blooming girls- art tags by Sylwia

Hello Art Souls!!!

We are in the middle of summer:) I hope you have planned your holidays and you either read this post having cool coke by the pool somewhere in a hot hot place or... LIKE ME you read it on your computer at home enjoying your cup of coffee:) But it doesn't matter where you are, you still need to keep your creative mojo going!!!:)

Today I wanted to show you three different mixed media technique  for designing the background of the tag. I use the same stamp but as you can see the outcome is totally different.

I used really cool July mixed media kit from Cardz'n'Scrapz

To be able to paint on the tag, I gessoed it first. Than I decided to doodle colorul flowers using Acrylic Silks. They gave these beautiful watercolour look. I left the middle of the tag plain as I knew that there will be a girl's face. Than I used the Prima Bloom Girl Stamp. I decided to go in with a black ball pen to highlight outlines of the girl, what  gave her more sketchy look. I added Heidi Swapp Stickers  and I distressed the edges with a black inkpad.

In the second tag I used the stencils, Ink Spray by Ranger and Fabsraps Lindy's Stamp Gang Spray as a first layer. After that I used acrylic paint with a bubble wrap to add even more texture. I stamped the image and added some butterflies. When the tag dried, I added some lace and washi tape at the bottom. Than I added Heidi Swapp Stickers

My third art tag is a collage made of different papers. I stamped the girl on the book page. I colored it in with my beloved Faber Castell Gelatos and Pitt Brush Pens (my two favourite art supplies ever!!!)
I also added some washi tape and the stickers.

I hope you enjoyed this project :)

Love,

Sylwia

Card and tag by Kobens

Hi guys :)
Today I want to show you a card and a tag made with my February DT kit :)
This card shape is in my favourite :) I drew this template on to heavy cardstock awhile back and cut it out and I  use it every time I want to do a card like this. I used Kaisercraft Art Of Life 12x12 paper, hand stitched it, then I used Tim Holtz Burlap stencil and light modelling paste (mixed with a little of Graphite Glimmer Mist) I made a lighter pattern in the middle of my card. I cut out frame using Spellbinders Majestic Elements Ovals Dies  and coloured it with Prima Chalk Ink "Attic Dust". Using Prima Chalk "Olive Vine" I coloured the bindweed chipboard. Than I sprayed the cream Prima flower with Graphite Glimmer Mist, add some light grey Prima mini roses and glued everything together. Between the base of my card and stitched paper I put some pleated strips of Kaisercraft paper

The tag was made with Prima Sunrise Sunset stamp, clear embossing powder, embossing ink and Graphite Glimmer Mist. Then I put some gesso on the top and using multi- medium glued a piece of tissue paper. After that I pleated strips of Kaisercraft paper and attached them to the bottom of my tag. I added some Prima cotton tape, and  using my favourite Prima stamps I stamped faux stitches here and there :) Then I added some flowers and chipboard, and a little charm and a black ribbon bow.

Thanks for visiting :*

Gelatos- my new love :)

Hi guys :)
Today I want to show you three tags I made with something completely new for me- Faber-Castell Gelatos. I was amazed with them. Creamy smooth, fabulous colours, versatile... the list is endless! They mix and blend easily. It's easy to create watercolor effects just by spraying with some water. You can even stamp with them! My new favourite medium :)

This tag I covered with lace and add some texture with Light modelling paste and Prima Stencil "Lattice". Using Heavy Gel Medium I glued Prima metal flower and Prima Faucet Wheels  then covered everything with a thick layer of gesso. I cut out small piece from each stick and mixed it with water- to make lovely paint which I used to colour my tag and white seam binding ribbon. I add three Epoxy Dots and put some more intensive colour all around them to make them pop.

This tag has more intensive colours. I used the same Prima stencil and modelling paste to create the background texture. On the middle I glued some creased tissue paper and covered everything with gesso again ;) Then I randomly put thick layer of each Gelato colour on different parts of tag. I sprayed it with water and used my finger to blend the colours :) I then put some Gelatos directly on Kaisercraft Texture Chicken Wire stamp and stamped the tag. Then I used another Kaisercraft stamp- Lattice with black Archival Ink.

The last one I made with paper strips glued randomly, Prima Checker stencil and covered everything with gesso (this is why I always buy big gesso ;)). On two opposite corners I put some thick layers of colours, then I sprayed them with water and blew a little to spread the colour. After that I quickly dry my tag with a heat tool. Again I used Gelatos with Kaisercraft stamps- Chicken Wire and Edges. Then I glued lovely bottle caps Alphabet with Epoxy Dots using Heavy Gel Medium. I added some doodling using a Faber-Castell Finepen.

I hope you will share my love with Gelatos ;)
