Altered Papier Mâché Letter

Good morning :) It's Sandie here and I am sharing a project I made for a recent RAK. 

I started by covering the letter with the Tim Holtz Wallflower papers and sanding all the edges. Then taking a stencil I applied some metallic gold embossing paste.

I cut some butterlies from the papers and applied some of the embossing paste, and some glossy accents along the body on each butterly. 

I cut out a date stamp from the papers and glued it to the memory frame, then applied a layer of glossy accents over the whole thing. 

To embellish I layered on some leaves, flowers, flower vines, chipboard elements, pearls and a metal charm.
